Leading Expertise

Our team is spearheaded by Nicolas Martin, the CEO of The Stay Safe Global Charitable Trust, who brings over twenty years of dedicated experience, including working directly within domestic violence refuges.

Nick's expertise has been pivotal in advising leading corporations such as Google's Global Security Team, ensuring they are equipped to tackle these critical issues.

Through collaborations with international charitable organisations like No More, Nick has played a crucial role in bringing to the forefront the voices of survivors, ensuring they are integral to the solutions we develop.

In 2017, we collaborated with UK Says No More to conduct a groundbreaking three-year academic study focused on engaging men in conversations about domestic abuse (DA) and sexual violence (SV).

This research gave birth to the "In Conversation with Men" project, designed to uncover the most effective ways to involve men in addressing these critical issues.

Building on this foundational work, we have expanded our studies, enabling us to provide informed advisory services to welfare and security teams at some of the world's largest companies.

Notably, we recently provided training with Google's Global Security Team, offering insights and training to mitigate the impacts of DA and SV across their global organisation.

Through this initiative, we continue to drive change and equip organisations with the knowledge needed to foster safe and inclusive environments.

Alongside our advisory board which boasts top-level experts in the field, our comprehensive approach includes consultancy, guest speaking, impact assessments, exploration of the effect of extreme misogyny on welfare and equality programs, and strategies to counter harmful narratives.

The rise of the Manosphere — a collection of online communities fostering misogynistic ideologies—poses a significant threat to workplace safety and culture. These communities, ranging from men's rights activists to incels, have been linked to real-world violence, harassment, and a degradation of workplace environments. Social isolation and hybrid working models have exacerbated these issues, making it urgent for organisations to take proactive measures.

Why is addressing misogyny important for my organisation?
